So you're interested in the AMS major. How can you figure out how to complete AMS requirements? The AMS "Major Map" below provides an example of how students complete AMS starting as a freshman.

Keep in mind that this major map is an example of the kind of schedule a student can pursue. Students should not take it as the gospel; every student’s situation is unique. This should be used in conjunction with academic advising. Courses vary in credit, GER tags overlap, and a course may happen to fulfill a major requirement and a continued writing requirement!
