Day-One Readiness Certificate Program

Get ready to stand out!

About the Program

The QTM Day-ONE Readiness Certificate (DOC)

DOC is a collaborative pilot initiative between the Emory Career Center and QTM.  The goal of the program is to help students gain and develop key personal and professional skills.  By encouraging and rewarding participation in four key development areas, we promote a well-rounded career development experience.

Who is eligible?

We are piloting this program with QTM majors only

Why should you pursue the QTM DOC?

Participating in this program differentiates you from your peers.  Put the DOC on your resume to indicate your self-initiative.  The certificate demonstrates to prospective employers the proactive steps you have taken to develop yourself not just academically, but also professionally.

Benefits

  • Start your next semester with confidence about your career trajectory
  • Receive recognition at QTM's graduation celebration
  • Highlight DOC as an accomplishment in your cover letter/resume
  • Incorporate this achievement in networking conversations

How to Earn the DOC

No application required!  To earn the DOC, you are just need to commit to participating in a variety of events and programming offered throughout the semester by both the Career Center and QTM.  We encourage participation in each of these four key developmental areas:
  • Career exploration
  • Technical & professional skills
  • Experiential learning
  • Outcomes
